About the event

Course: A Level Computer Science: Boolean Algebra (4hrs)

In this training session, we will look at Boolean Logic in detail, starting at logic gates and logic circuits moving onto Boolean Algebra and how to simplify expressions. We will also look at De Morgan’s law and how it can be used to simplify expressions. We will finish by solving problems using Karnaugh maps. At every step of the course, we will focus on how to make this potentially ‘dry’ subject engaging for students.

Do you want to…?

- Construct logic circuits, truth tables and logic expressions

- Improve your confidence in teaching Boolean Algebra

- Perform Boolean algebra using De Morgan’s laws
