About the event
An innovative curriculum unit for Year 5 and Year 7 students, focusing on exploring coding and computational thinking through the lens of climate action.Â
Primary - In this module, pupils will cultivate an engineering mindset as they delve into the analysis of various Early Warning Systems deployed worldwide. By examining their diverse applications, pupils will develop a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved.
Secondary - This session will involve hands-on coding experiences, where we will collaboratively explore the collection of acceleration data using micro:bit technology to detect wave height. Our focus will extend to setting tolerances and equipping pupils with the skills to proficiently interpret the gathered data.
