In this training session we will look at Von Neumann architecture in detail, looking at the movement of data and information through the registers, units and buses in each FDE cycle. We will also look at factors affecting performance, and the purpose of interrupts and how the computer deals with them. We will also touch on assembly language and strategies on how to build links to other topics on the A Level specification.
