About the event

Object-oriented programming.  You'll learning how to code using Python with OOP approaches in this hands-on session and create your own character to fight others in a virtual ring.  If you like you can even bring your own teddy or action figure (we know you all have one!) for inspiration.  The session will focus on core OOP principles, collaborative programming approaches, encapsulation, polymorphism and aggregation.

Modern Web Development. Learn to create simple interactive web apps using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We will use APIs that provide fun functionality and will inspire your students to be creative. We will focus on the core syntax students need to learn and use frameworks you can build into your teaching to help students develop an agile approach to problem-solving, developing some of the most sought-after skills in the tech industry. You'll take away all the resources ready to use these projects in the classroom.

Presenters: Peter Marshman & Sophie Fenn
